The short answer

Ontario Equipment Services (OES) provides mobile rustproofing in Newmarket. There is no shop to drive to: we come to your yard, job site or driveway and oil spray trucks, heavy equipment, trailers and cars with a dripless amber oil (black on request) that stays where it is sprayed. We also power wash, clean cabs, repair seats and grease. Call (437) 999-1637.

Newmarket is close to home for us. Our base in Mount Albert is a short drive away, and we spend a good part of every fall working in Newmarket yards, job sites and driveways. If you’re looking for rustproofing in Newmarket, you don’t need to book a bay, drop off your truck and find a ride back. We bring the oil, the pressure washer and the know-how to wherever your equipment is parked.

The town packs a lot of traffic into a compact area. Yonge Street, Davis Drive and Mulock Drive carry steady commuter and commercial traffic, Highway 404 runs along the east side, and the employment lands between Leslie Street and the 404 keep trucks, vans and forklifts busy all year. Every one of those vehicles drives through salt and brine from late fall into spring, and the damage builds quietly underneath, where nobody looks until it’s too late.

Our approach is simple. We wash first when it’s needed, then apply a dripless amber oil spray (or dripless black, if you prefer) into frames, seams, welds, lines and pivot points. The amber colour lets you see exactly where the barrier is, and because it’s dripless it won’t run down onto your driveway or yard. Truck rustproofing, oil spraying and heavy equipment power washing in Newmarket can all happen in the same visit.

Local conditions

Salt, traffic and steel: what Newmarket equipment is up against

Newmarket runs roughly from Bathurst Street east to Highway 404, and from St. John’s Sideroad up toward Green Lane. Inside that footprint are some of the busiest roads in northern York Region. Yonge Street and Davis Drive meet at the town’s main commercial crossroads, Davis Drive and Mulock Drive both tie into Highway 404, and Green Lane along the north edge is a truck route across toward Highway 400.

All of those roads are salted through the winter, and the slush thrown up by traffic coats everything that drives on them. Brine works into frame rails, crossmembers, hitch receivers, brake lines and the bottoms of doors and tailgates. Stop-and-go driving on the Yonge and Davis corridors keeps vehicles sitting in that wet spray, and the freeze-thaw swings of an Ontario winter keep re-wetting any salt that has already dried onto the steel.

The work in town is varied. The Newmarket Industrial Park, between Leslie Street and Highway 404 north of Mulock Drive, is zoned for business and industrial use and is full of delivery and service fleets, forklifts and trailers. Planned growth around the Yonge-Davis intersection, along Yonge Street and around the historic downtown on Main Street South brings excavators, loaders, cranes and concrete trucks onto local sites. And residential neighbourhoods from Stonehaven-Wyndham to Summerhill Estates are full of pickups, SUVs and family vehicles making the same salty commute every day.

Then there are the trucks that work the salt instead of just driving through it. Snow plow and salter trucks clearing Newmarket lots and roads take the worst of it: brine on the frame, salt around the spreader, slush packed into every bracket and mount. We rustproof plow and salter trucks too, ideally before the first storm, followed by a thorough wash-down in spring.

What we do for Newmarket equipment owners

  • Oil Spraying & Rustproofing

Our oil spraying in Newmarket covers everything from a single pickup in a Glenway Estates driveway to a row of trucks and trailers in an industrial yard off Harry Walker Parkway. Dripless amber oil goes into frames, rocker panels, door bottoms, welds, brake and fuel lines and wiring connectors, the places Newmarket road salt does the most damage. Prefer a uniform look on a black frame? We offer dripless black too. Either way, it stays where it’s sprayed instead of dripping on your driveway.

  • Power Washing

Mobile equipment washing in Newmarket comes to you, so mud-caked machines don’t have to ride a float trailer across town to get clean. We power wash tracks, undercarriages, buckets, frames, decks and truck bodies to strip off clay, grime and salt brine. Heavy equipment power washing is also the right prep before oil spraying, because the oil needs to reach steel, not dirt. Contractors working the Yonge and Davis corridors often book a wash and an oil spray together.

  • Cab Cleaning

Newmarket fleets put a lot of hours on their cabs, and winter makes it worse. Salt, slush and sand get tracked in on every boot and settle into floor mats, pedals and seat tracks. We clean operator cabs and truck interiors on site: floors, mats, seats, controls, joysticks, the dash, and glass inside and out. It’s an easy add-on when we’re already in your yard for a wash or an oil spray, and your operators will notice the difference on the next shift.

  • Seat Upholstery

A torn operator seat or a split seam on a work truck bench gets worse every time someone climbs in with a tool belt. We repair tears and split seams and re-cover seats that are worn through, in fabric or vinyl, for equipment, trucks and vehicles. Newmarket customers can send us a few photos of the seat first, and we’ll tell you whether it needs a repair or a full re-cover before we come out.

  • Greasing

Greasing is the job that gets skipped when crews are busy. We grease pins, bushings and pivot points on booms, buckets and linkages, plus trailer hitches and fifth wheels, following your manufacturer’s grease points and intervals. On Newmarket job sites we often grease straight after a power wash, since pressure washing can push water into joints and fresh grease pushes it back out. It keeps machines moving freely and wearing less between services.

Equipment

Equipment we rustproof and wash in Newmarket

Newmarket has a bit of everything: industrial fleets near the 404, construction crews in the growth areas along Yonge and Davis, and households with a truck or two in the driveway. These are the machines and vehicles we work on most often around town.

  • 01
Pickups, work vans and service bodies

The backbone of Newmarket’s trades and delivery fleets. Truck rustproofing here focuses on frames, rocker panels, wheel wells and the brake and fuel lines that take a beating from salt.

  • 02
    Excavators, loaders and dozers

Machines working construction sites around the Yonge-Davis area and the downtown core get washed down and oil sprayed right where they’re parked, with no float required.

  • 03
    Skid steers, telehandlers and forklifts

Common in the Newmarket Industrial Park and on building sites across town. We wash, grease and oil spray them on site between jobs.

  • 04
Dump trucks, semis, and plow and salter trucks

Heavy trucks running Davis Drive, Mulock Drive and Highway 404 pick up brine on every winter trip. Frames, crossmembers and body seams get a full coat of oil.

  • 05
    Trailers of every kind

Flatbeds, dump trailers, float trailers and enclosed trailers often sit outside all winter. We oil spray decks, frames, lights, wiring and hitches.

  • 06
    Cars, SUVs and minivans

Family vehicles in Newmarket driveways get the same dripless oil spray, applied at home while you get on with your day.

Timing

When to book rustproofing in Newmarket

Fall is the best time to oil spray. A fresh barrier on clean steel before the first salt goes down on Yonge Street and Davis Drive means your truck or machine starts the winter protected instead of playing catch-up. For contractors, fall also lines up well with the end of the busiest building months, when machines can be washed, greased and sprayed before they go into winter work or storage.

That said, it is never too late. If the snow has already started and your truck hasn’t been done yet, an oil spray now still protects the steel for the rest of the season. Salt season in Ontario runs roughly from November to April, so there is plenty of winter left to protect against, and any time is a good time to spray.

In spring, book a wash-down. Months of brine and slush leave a crust on frames, undercarriages and trailer decks, and getting it off before summer stops it working on the steel. Plow operators and contractors who ran all winter often pair the spring wash with greasing and a look at where the oil needs a touch-up.

Why mobile

Why Newmarket crews choose a mobile service

  • No hauling, no downtime

Moving an excavator or a loaded trailer across town ties up a truck, a driver and half a day. We come to your yard or site instead.

  • Your truck stays in your driveway

Homeowners don’t have to drop off a vehicle and find a ride back. We do the work right at your home in Newmarket.

  • Protection you can see

Dripless amber oil shows exactly where the barrier is, so you can check the coverage yourself once we’re done.

  • One visit, several jobs

Washing, oil spraying, greasing, cab cleaning and seat repair can all be handled while we’re already on site.

  • Close to home

Newmarket is a short drive from our Mount Albert base, and we’ve been servicing the GTA and beyond for more than five years.

  • Environmentally safe products

The oil we use is environmentally safe and offers long-lasting durability against salt, rust and corrosion.

We don’t have a shop. Ontario Equipment Services is mobile only, so we come to you in Newmarket, whether that’s your driveway, your yard or your job site. There’s no drop-off, no waiting room and no ride home to arrange.

No. Our oil spray is dripless, so it stays where it’s sprayed instead of running off onto your driveway or interlock. That’s a big part of why homeowners are comfortable having their vehicles done at home.

Yes. Send us a list of what you run, from pickups and vans to trailers, forklifts and heavy trucks, and we’ll put together a no-obligation quote. We work through the fleet on site and can set up regular visits so every unit is protected before winter.

Yes. Plow and salter trucks carry more salt than almost anything else on the road, so they benefit the most from a fresh oil spray before the season and a thorough wash after it. We can do both at your yard.

Yes. Mobile equipment washing is what we do, so we wash excavators, loaders, dozers and trucks where they’re working. We work around your crew’s schedule and can oil spray right after the wash, while the steel is clean.
